QScan is provided by Alberto Zeledon under the QuadLZ brand.
QScan does not require an account, registration, or sign-in. QScan does not contain advertising or analytics, and QuadLZ and Alberto Zeledon do not collect, receive, store, sell, rent, or use personal information or scanned content.
Camera access
QScan requests access to your device’s camera only when you choose to scan a QR code or barcode. Camera images and detected codes are processed locally on your device. QScan does not upload, transmit, or retain camera images or scanned content.
You may deny or revoke camera permission through your device settings. QScan cannot scan a code without camera access.
Scan results
QScan analyzes scanned content on your device and shows a safety preview before you decide what to do. QScan does not automatically open websites, place calls, send messages, connect to Wi-Fi networks, or perform other actions contained in a scanned code.
QScan does not keep a scan history or store scanned results after they are no longer needed for the current scan.
External websites and apps
If you choose to open a website or another supported destination from a scan result, QScan hands that request to an external browser or app on your device. That website or app may collect information under its own privacy policy. QuadLZ does not control the privacy or security practices of external websites or apps.
Data sharing
QScan does not collect or share user data with QuadLZ, Alberto Zeledon, advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other companies.
Children’s privacy
QScan does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else because QScan does not collect personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if QScan’s features or privacy practices change. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
